Our safety team is responsible for all site and employee safety compliance. This includes new employee orientation, job site visits and reviews. We review our overall program annually and analyze if any additional changes need to be made.

At Lund Construction, each job, no matter the size, is approached with the same degree of concern for a safe and secure environment.
At Lund Construction we consider health, safety and protection to be one of the most important responsibilities of our trade and an integral part of every job site we are on. We are committed not only to the safety of our personnel and visitors to our site, but to protection of the environment and customer assets.
Our safety program is based upon the premise that all accidents are preventable and that sacrificing safety for the sake of expediency is not acceptable under any circumstances. All Lund management and employees believe that the best way to maintain a safe work environment is through a collective effort of extensive training, cooperation and eliminating the unexpected. We comply with all State and Federal regulations, we are always in hardhats and bright orange gear on site, and we undergo yearly training to make sure that our crews are up to date in all aspects of the construction process. As part of this training, our crew members are certified in OSHA, first aid, erosion control and the safe use of equipment operation.
While no set of safety regulations, regardless of integrity, can guarantee prevention in all situations, the following initiatives are part of our safety plan:

Through communication and concern resolution mechanisms, our Health and Safety Committees track each job and apply company safety policies to ascertain that all procedures and regulations are properly followed.

In order to respect and protect the environment that we work in, and all individuals on a job site, we closely and frequently examine all facilities, projects and machinery in an effort to detect even the smallest of hazards. If a possible hazard is identified, it is addressed immediately so as not to endanger the team or cause a delay on the project.
