Estimating Manager

“Harj” has been in the construction business since 2000, working with private residential developers, municipalities, and both state and federal agencies. He has managed numerous notable projects for the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, the USDA Forest Service, Caltrans, Sacramento County, and local cities, including Sacramento, Elk Grove, Citrus Heights, Lincoln, Rancho Murieta, Davis, Placerville, and Folsom. His ability to listen to the needs of clients and address challenges with creative solutions has earned him a strong network of industry relationships and a respected reputation in the industry.
Harj started with Lund as a project manager in June of 2019 and was quickly promoted to manager of the estimating department the following year. His leadership skills, out of the box thinking and unsurpassed work ethic have him overseeing the estimating and take-off team, identifying projects to bid and managing the bid schedule in his current role. He serves as a volunteer board member for the Sutter Yuba Community Foundation (SYCF), a non-profit organization that supports local charitable causes and provides educational scholarships for area youth. He also speaks fluent Punjabi.
