In November, 2020 Lund Construction Co. was hired for this full scope project for a 144 new home subdivision in Lincoln.  The project included:

  • Grading & Street work – Rough Grade Export  – 56,000 CY & 69,000 CY import
  • AC overlay 308,522 SF
  • Concrete work – Rolled Curb & Gutter – 8,500 – LF / Sidewalk – 40,000 SF
  • Underground Wet Utilities – Sewer, Storm Drain, Water, – 35,590 LF
  • Our subcontractors completed:
    • Traffic Striping – 10,500 LF
    • Walls and Fencing – 4,150 LF – (Back Cut/ Backfill only)

Our team self-performed all field operations and heavy civil scope items in-house, and provided value engineering during the design stage.  This resulted in maximum productivity for the client over all areas of the team and project, and control of overall master project budget and schedule.

When our crews ran into production challenges due to existing overhead PG&E utility lines and polls, and material availability shortage on manholes, drop inlets (DI), sewer and water pipe, we worked closely together to solve them. This included using smaller equipment to increase field production, and working with suppliers all over the country to get material in a timely manner to keep the project on schedule.  Additionally, we worked closely with the owner’s engineers on the installation of the cathodic protection on the water system.
