The California Aqueduct project was a quick turnaround and required round the clock teams. The project consisted of the removal of two 10,000 cyd cofferdams that were designed for maintenance and emergency repairs. Working adjacent to the water, while removing the cofferdams and preserving the existing concrete lining of the aqueduct, took expertise and precision to ensure a clean project with a quick finish. Through thorough pre-job planning meetings to get all of the resources mapped out, and daily meetings to make any necessary adjustments along the way, we were able to complete the job efficiently to meet the 1 week deadline.
